A few moments made me smirk, the performances for the most part were decent enough and some of the kills were quite inventive which is why it’s got a slight boost but overall, this is completely fucking dreadful and a snooze fest. The kills were predictable, the characters were lacking depth and I felt the runtime dragging constantly as I kept looking at my phone throughout this ridiculously boring narrative provided. It will have its audience out there and that’s each to their own.

Who's smiling now, you infernal son of a whore?

Bong Joon-Ho brings his artistic flair as he manages to create a world infront of you that uses satire humour within Science Fiction in such a fascinating way that touches on social and political themes also. There’s no wonder that he is seen as such an ambitious and creative/revolutionary director. A great cast stacked with talent, chemistry and charisma that oozes through the screen - some members of which that I really did not expect to see and was pleasantly…

A gorgeous piece of gothic art that bleeds through the screen with its stunning costume design, bold set designs and dark yet powerful performances from all of the very gifted cast members. GDT provides an intoxicating aesthetic that I will be looking forward to coming back to experience again.

But the horror... The horror was for love. The things we do for love like this are ugly, mad, full of sweat and regret. This love burns you and maims you and twists you inside out. It is a monstrous love and it makes monsters of us all.

    ★★½

A deeply vibrant, charming, ambitious and entertaining film with its suspense building and dramatic notes - particularly in the gorge that we needed more of - that again is another that lacks clear direction and emotional connection with the audience due to the numerous dips into various genres that it takes. Sci-Fi, romance, action, thriller - it’s never sure of itself which does hinder the experience unfortunately. Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy do have good chemistry that brings a smile…

Taylor Sheridan smashed it with this bold and visually powerful neo-western flick, this deserves more praise. Jeremy Renner providing vengeance and justice to the fullest, Elizabeth Olsen ferociously emptying the clip without fail and Jon Bernthal reaching into your heart and crushing it with his emotional gut punch. This is what I call a fucking thrill-ride and it manages to completely grip you and really connect with you on levels all the way throughout. Unfortunately Wind River is let down by…

LFG. I will keep this as much of a spoiler free review as possible and then I will dive more in depth when I rewatch this movie (as I will be doing so very soon without a doubt). I fucking loved this. This orgasmic behemoth of a movie is what makes marvel great, I should have worn my white pants. Not only surpassing my expectations and meeting nostalgia with a fine touch, this was nothing short of absolute fire for…
