an interesting new entry into my “can you separate the art from the artist?” catalogue.on one hand: this is just a dreamy little fantasy starring two extremely sexy and well dressed weirdos!
on the other hand: is Notorious Hollywood Conservative vincent gallo allowed to write the f slur into his own dialogue that much? more importantly, did he write billy with a sense of irony or does he really believe in the unearned redemption of this Terrible Guy?

Stress Positions 2024
was reluctant to watch anything centered around covid (i was there/it just happened/it’s still happening) but i’m so glad i finally did it!! what a beautifully chaotic, dark and entirely depressing film. it encapsulates some of the worst and best parts of living in new york, especially in 2020. it’s a horror, it’s a comedy, it’s heady and i am THINKING.
