This was one of my most anticipated movies of the year and it lived up to the hype. The opening scene gave me full body chills and set the tone for the entire film. Bill Skarsgård is an absolute FORCE. His vocal range was fucking insane, and the vibration in his voice captivated me even more than his look... and his look is haunting. He is the reason this movie is taken to the next level.

I’m gonna go ahead and say it - I kinda enjoyed this. I love Chris Pratt and a good dumb sci-fi movie.
Yeah, it had a $320 million budget, which is legit insane, but I will say the CG looked better than every Netflix movie I’ve seen. No excuse to have to spend that much to get to this level of production lol… but still.
After a long wait following Parasite, we finally get Mickey 17. And to be honest, it didn’t quite get there for me. Even with all the rumors about bad test screenings and the constant delays, I was still excited for this one… Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo were absolutely amazing. Pattinson is the best actor in the game right now - his commitment to his craft is unreal. Ruffalo’s comedic side is perfect.
Overall, it just didn’t land for me.…
My dad and I’s favorite film to watch together. So thankful it exists so I can always go back to it and think of him.
