Currently a sad puddle available to be buried in Pinky’s Pity Pit.

Not sure how this film manages to balance the line of dark comedy and one of the saddest movies I’ve ever seen but here we are.

Strongly set apart from its buddy travel peers, this tour film not only captures a less commonly toured path (holocaust tour of Poland), but also manages to capture a myriad of unique philosophical questions that should be addressed in the context of this kind of dark tourism such as the luxuries of tourism vs the subject matter of the tour. Beyond that, the characters personalities and internal conflicts complement the setting and bring about some interesting questions about pain and its validity in the context of the generational trauma of our ancestors. All of this in a buddy travel comedy that still manages to be funny!

Matthew Vaughn targets the Swiftie demographic and decides to wear a new hat, cat wrangler
(Seriously though, it’s his family cat in the movie; a true nepo-cat)

Cosmopolitan with a twist on a twist on a twist and I think the twists undid themselves. I suppose I’m okay with another harmless version of The Lost City with some entertaining enough action set pieces.

    Release the full Annie cut!

I laughed, I cried, I thought about how no matter what, we’ll be okay. This film is an ode to the elderly generation, their resilience, and love of life.

Fun fact: June did most of her scooter stunts! Rad 🤘
