  The first 45mins were very straight in a way.. the jokes and the whole experience felt alien. It for sure made me feel a lot of different emotions (i felt frustrated, disappointed, powerless) to a very high intensity. None of them hapiness and i think that is very important for the storyline. 
  I also like the underlying queerness and discussion of british colonialism.. it was very subtle but so important. It conveys a good message. 

  The overdosing scene and the withdrawal one are so well done and they do their job in the movie!

  there is something so magical about the guys that kept playing the violin, idk it made me tear up. the love story is cute but very meh i watch it for the destruction 

  also my father knows this movie by hearth that was funny af to see him knowing which scene was coming next
