The Electric State 2025
one of my best friends of all time worked on this movie as a plasterer and i am sincerely so proud of the work they did! their team did a fantastic job, as did most if not all of the below-the-line crew on this film.
somehow worse than ch*rry. where did the 320 million budget go? sorta baffled by the lack of heart and humanity in a movie theoretically about the perseverance of and preservation of the human spirit.

MVFF #1
THE FATHER is an incredible labyrinth. Anthony Hopkins gives one of the greatest performances of the year, bolstered by a truly soulful Olivia Colman, but it's the design of the whole thing that's left me reeling. It's just exquisitely created. Every time you get comfortable or start to think you know where it's going, there's a reset or a return.
Wanna get my hands on this script so badly. Extra half star because I have been struggling with memory issues lately and Hopkins really nailed layers of perspective that I haven't been able to articulate.
