I think turning Hugh Grant into a reddit atheist is really clever. He still has some of that usual charm but it fades away in a satisfying fashion. The structure of the story is a little awkward and I can’t say I really like the ending. Any movie that makes me go OOOOooohhh has me interested enough to feel shock, and this happened several times throughout. I think Sophie Thatcher did a really good job and I’m interested in seeing more of her.

The Rule of Jenny Pen 2024
A really strange one. Has some nice kiwi humor at some points but the pacing is really weird. The setting is unique and the problem it talks about isn’t explored that much in media (in my opinion). John Lithgow does some things I wouldn’t want anyone having footage of me doing, Geoffrey Rush plays a british asshole and that’s really it.
