  I am exhausted, I am angry, I am awed. And I yearn for real freedom for the Congolese people.

  
  The extraordinary editing fuses a lot of insanity. Insane jazz from the greatest musicians ever,  themselves entwined in an insane story of the doggedness of colonialist powers to keep destroying a nation and the insane mess of the United Nations in the early 60s.

  
  
  

  It feels messy and all over the place at times but that’s kinda the story too. It’s an extraordinary watch for certain.
