I mean, this is just a perfect movie plain and simple. This was the first Wes Anderson I saw back in 2014, and on revisiting it's just so powerful while still being unbelievably funny. Pitch perfect in every way

Dune: Part Two 2024
Inverse of Wicked for me, in that most of my issues with this are issues I have with the back half of the original book (the first half, like the first movie, is pretty much flawless), while everything put on screen is pretty undeniable. The whole Kwisatz Haderach/Water of Life plot just doesn't really do it for me like the Leto stuff! Loved that they made Chani the audience surrogate though, really lets her shine and gives the whole thing a very sinister vibe

Boy is that bleak! Too cute by half for my liking, but Tim Robbins sells the hell out of it. Wish it had way more D'Onofrio and Whoopi Goldberg and maybe only two thirds of the "Griffin meets a random celebrity who thinks he's a dick" scenes they left in the cut though
