I really enjoyed this! Super simple plotline, simple beats, nothing too fancy and NO ONE expositing that it was from a curse of the Witch of Blargflarg in 1322 or some shit. In fact nobody at any point in this movie knows what the fuck it is and I love that. No big frills, no big SFX, no scary monster, just an entity slowly and constantly following you. Real good, real creepy. An excellent example of a film that holds back just enough info that you sort of know and sort of don't know what's going on. I love how the band is basically drugs, too.
The level of manipulation(?) that is happening from the other side is wild. Even at the end I'm not sure what I believed. And man, that toe sucking scene... Whew boy, what a creepy ass film.
