  Went in with really high expectations, but was disappointed. Beautifully shot and I like the ideas a lot, but I feel like the story and characters needed a lot more work. I don’t understand anyone’s motivations or personalities by the end of the movie and I just found myself thinking that these are two exceptionally immature people…

  Thoroughly enjoyed it - Ryan Gosling absolutely nails his performance (men!! At it again). It's also visually incredible - it's innovative, genuinely funny, everything big movies basically aren't these days. I think the movie can be a little too beat-you-over-the-head with the monologues about patriarchy (there's probably a third wave critique here), but I think it is intended for a broader audience than the typical Gerwig/Baumbach film. But I think it is still miles more thoughtful than your average summer blockbuster dramedy.
