  Dune: Part Two works as a science fiction blockbuster spectacle but ultimately lacks any kind of depth. The most interesting part of the film is its Messiah narrative, but its execution is quite shallow. I wanted more philosophical lore and the psychology of religion to be examined rather than merely displayed.
