  This 1965 Oscar winner is a dialogue heavy historical drama with overt religous themes, splendid performances, and stunning visuals for its time period. Despite thoroughly enjoying this, I far prefer "A Man for All Seasons".

  Profound. A deep meditation on suffering, the problem of evil, hidden sacrifice, and the question of a world beyond. Spectacular cinematography. This is my third Malick film and he hasn't let me down yet.

Following
