    I really wasn't expecting nothing comparable to the 1987 original, but even so this was disappointing.
    Starting by the cast: literally a bunch of clowns compared to the elite military bad asses that walked the jungle with Arnold. Since the cast was one of the most emblematic things of the original, this movie misses so much by not having something at least comparable.

    For sure, Nolan's most ambitious work till now. Most complaints about this movie are based on Nolan's habit of over-explaining things but, truly, that didn't spoil the experience at all for me.
    The cast is great, the ships and all the technology involved in it (TARS and CASE included) are amazing and believable, the shots at space gives you that feeling of littleness as few movies did before.
    The third act, however, is a little problematic in my opinion. I think Nolan had a hard time trying to conciliate those crazy physics concepts with human feelings, but who wouldn't?
