It's quintenssentially a Bong film. No one can make something like this, in this kind of style.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- 2025
Essentially, it's a two stories in one: a half-feature length prologue and first two episodes of the new series. The visual/stylistic discrepancy is clearly noticeable--one is a down-to-earth love letter/reimagining of the original Mobile Suite Gundam, while the latter half is a completely new story that is almost impossible to recognize the connection with the first half if it weren't for some of the namedrops.
