A fun horror movie with a very clear FlyLo trippy touch. He mentioned he was channeling John Carpenter with the score and that definitely came through, especially at the end. I definitely jumped a few times😅
Also shoutout to Eliza Gonzalez, she killed it (but are you gonna paint your nails in space? Lips stayed plump the whole time, need that space balm)
John Malkovich serving cunt and Tony Hale being a diva set the stage for this comedy- horror accompanied by Ayo in one of her best performances.
I can forgive some of the plot points because it gave me what I needed: a good time (and some original bops performed by John Malkovich). This doesn’t take itself seriously and I found that overwhelmingly refreshing coming off Oscar season
