De Palma takes the idea behind Rear Window and makes it an erotic thriller set in 1980s LA. And there’s Frankie Goes to Hollywood “Relax” montage? Okay!
There’s just enough horror to make this not just an erotic movie. And the main character looks like a younger Bill Maher.

Nolan’s first feature, a non linear neo noir film in black and white, is a preview of his signature style. Knowing he couldn’t afford more than a few takes per scene on 16mm film. he impressively captures a compelling thriller in less than 120 minutes.

An interesting Spanish/italian giallo that turns into more of dramatic thriller with acting out of a black box theatre play. Great use of color in the set design. Also love that castle!
