Honestly it’s aged pretty badly, which is probably why it will be iconic in pop culture forever, as a moment in time when everyone’s collective mind was blown.
Like Inception, it can’t overcome the size of its own concept and is weighed down by never-ending exposition.
Kind of cool, kind of unbearably pretentious. Obviously trying to imitate the French New Wave.
