Top quality acting as you might expect with Tommy cruise and Emily B. An accurate depiction of warfare as far as I’m concerned. Really cool costumes and shit.
But the storyline just felt a little too contrived… An alien race that can bend time when one of their alphas dies? I could even bend my mind around that by midway through the movie but the thing I understand the LEAST is the ending. Why did they all revive and reset…

Action scenes balanced out a lacking impetus for plot. Feels like a stretch to have a guy go on a rampage throughout NYC because his dog died, even if he was an ex hit man. Once the bullets started flying, I stopped worrying so much. A spin-off movie with just the shit that goes down in the Continental could be interesting.
Not sure if anyone has ever compared Keanu Reeves and Mike Tyson before, but I feel like they have…
