I’ll start with this; Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are both fantastic in this. They are sadly the only redeeming quality of this (half of a) film. Great use of atmosphere, setting and lighting. Nicole Kidman is great as usual and the story keeps you guessing. I had a lot of fun with this and it holds up so much better than a lot of the thriller/mystery films from this time period. Not just a perfect horror film but a perfect film. Possibly my favorite storytelling in any horror film with 3 very important and distinct acts. The way the film builds to the face off at the end is such a fun ride. Amazing practical effects throughout this and I love the set designs.
