March Around the World 2024 (Trip 1) - Luxembourg

Ernest and Celestine is an animated film about the unlikely and societally frowned upon friendship between a bear, Ernest, and a mouse, Celestine. The main draw here is the said friendship between the film’s titular characters. It’s very heart warming to watch them go from strangers who happen to help each other to best friends who are willing to die for each other. It’s almost unbelievable that they would become such…

Now that I’m 18 episodes and one movie into One Piece (I haven’t even scratched the surface of its over 1100 episodes and counting plus 20 movies) I can say that I like it. Secret Level - Dungeons & Dragons: The Queen's Cradle

    ★★★

This is so frustrating because the second it started getting interesting and it started pulling me in it ends. The pacing made it inherently difficult to get invested in anything that’s happening until the exact point that it ends. Dungeons & Dragons doesn’t really lend itself to short form storytelling, even one shots are usually at least an hour long. It needed to be maybe ten minutes longer and it needed better pacing. I can give a big compliment to the…
