no but the pathos of star trek is incredible when you think about it and the human condition to make entire cons and have ppl come together in mutual interest of something so much is just brilliant and fun and something so particular to the human condition i think. the power of influence particularly in this case of the field of science and how many ppl got inspired to become NASA astronauts, physicists, etc is amazing
