  I am a big proponent of slow cinema, but his was just slow for the sake of being slow. It felt like a “look how good of a filmmaker I am” kind of movie, but it was all over the place.

  Second time around I appreciated the story even more. Eisenberg behind the camera is excellent, but Eisenberg in front if the camera is probably the weakest part of the movie. While I love Chopin, the score was getting kind of repetitive.
