A fun watch! Although the tone of the film leaned more towards a Whodunit with comedy, rather than a serious Whodunit like the book. I still enjoyed it.

A beautifully shot film. What starts off as a camping trip transforms into a nuanced exploration of father-daughter dynamics and sexism in a modern setting. There are humorous moments during the introduction of the characters, one may even start to like the three protagonists. Then, the plot abruptly turns towards something more serious after that moment and more problematic when Chris dismisses Sam's attempt to talk about the issue.
