Mr Eggers knows how to make a movie and make it look gooood. Some fantastic and memorable shots here, and some genuinely spooky moments.
The way Count Orlok’s whole body almost contracts and convulses like a pump as he’s feeding was a striking visual, and he was for the most part a truly scary presence (despite looking somewhat like Jimmy Carrey in the Sonic movies).
