This movie made my brain explode in the best way possible. The stakes start high and the pressure on Furiosa & Friends is constant, but somehow George Miller manages to build heart-thumping crescendos into the action even though the whole movie is already fortississimo.
The villains of this movie, Imortan Joe and his (deputies? generals? sidekicks?) are hilarious caricatures of a viking warlord, JP Morgan, and a gun nut.

I'm not sure whether I liked this movie or not. Obviously, it's a legendary film, and the story held my interest, the writing had me invested in the characters. However, in 2018, Vertigo is starting to show its age in some not-so-nice ways.
