Still as great as the first time I saw it 💙
A very human portrayal of purity and perversion all at once.
Some scenes can definitely be heavy for those who’ve experienced any kind of abuse (I remember being impacted by them the first time I saw it) but they’re important to the story which is ultimately one of crime, curiosity, temptation, and relationships; both pure and twisted alike. David beautifully captures the allure of the unknown and the darkness one might encounter when they go looking for it.
