Exhuma 2024
The overall experience was a mixed bag, but I’m being a little polite with this one because I think it introduced some of the freshest ideas and themes in recent times. The tension that should have been there wasn’t fully realized, the acting was okay, and while the film had great potential, the execution wasn’t top-notch Yet, I wasn’t too disappointed, just left with the feeling that it could have been better in scary-ness sense.

Incantation 2022
It's been a week since I last watched a movie, as I've hit ultimate movie fatigue, so I thought I might review films I haven't yet.
Incantation broke my heart. It frustrated me so much because it had all the elements to be great but didn’t use them well, ultimately wasting its potential. My biggest issue was the lack of a bond with the characters, this dented into a atmosphere. It has its moments, some really good horror moments in recent times yet the overall experience was dissatisfying.

Angel's Egg 1985
Dark skies, wind , Rain , Symbolism , emptiness, Minimal dialogue,No plot, all vibes. Every frame is like a painting. Most of the runtime is just two characters wandering aimlessly through vast, haunting and terrifying empty spaces. It might not be for everyone, but it was my thing, very cozy and comforting.

The Prowler 1981
What a complete waste of Tom Savini’s talent and an incredible concept. The Prowler had all the ingredients to be a slasher classic, WWII veteran killer in military gear, wielding a pitchfork but it completely fell flat.
First, the atrocious, bland score lacks any musical identity, failing to build tension or atmosphere. Second, the direction is dull, there was no excitement around when the char.'s were investigating killer. At times, it barely even feels like a slasher, with one kill…
