Watch a rich white woman bemoan how she is the most silenced and the most sad of anybody in the world for 75 minutes. Then watch her and co. announce that "the resistance is beginning" as she posts a political tweet. Then you realize, horrified, that that was supposed to be the climax of the movie.
Not even fun bad.
Ok but I don't think you understand: this isn't just similar to National Treasure, this is a straight-up National Treasure spoof.
At the end when the physical key to the treasure room turns out to be an earlier clue they say, "Could it really be that simple?" And as someone who has watched National Treasure a lot I could see the exact shot and hear Nicolas Cage's voice saying the exact same line in my head. (If you don't believe me)
