This film pissed me off. I had a general idea of the premise and really enjoyed the first act, but it quickly devolved into smug, preachy nonsense then made a full descent into bloated absurdity. I thought the performances were great, which made me even more annoyed because none of them could save this film from its sanctimonious self!
