Felt voyeristic about this girls pain in many ways, either through the constant look of pain in her face in almost every scene she had, or by watching destructive behaviours, like the filmmakers gaze and the father’s came together.
I´m glad anthropology moved beyond the attempt to be a natural science, and explaining human behaviour as if its physics...

Love the surrealist vibes, felt like I was in the non-pg version of a Hans Christian Andersen type fairy tale and I loved it. Loved the drama, love that the camera work makes the camera´s presence obvious like either we´re jumping around like a cat, or staring at a super close up of someones face, or were suddenly like wide lens, and LOVE LOVE LOVE THE WARDROBE.
