Not so much a horror sci-fi, as an unintentional comedy. But a marginally fun one, nonetheless. It's clear that Allison Williams invested far more in her producer credit than in her utterly flat performance. But this is not a performance-driven vehicle, so she gets a pass. Not much else to say here other than this film is rife with silly, campy, murderous fun.

Ruben Ostlund was a dark horse for his Best Director Oscar nod this year, but is every bit as deserving as the rest of his fellow nominees. Impeccable direction , vision, and execution contribute to one of the most delightfully absurd dark comedies I've seen in quite some time.
