  Steven Spielberg has always been my John Ford. 

  When I was 10 I was tasked to write an essay about a Jewish celebrity, and I chose Spielberg (I attended a Jewish private school K-8 hence the unique assignment.) I then bought a video camera with my bar mitzvah money, filmed a video year book for my 8th grade class, and spent the following 20 years of my life pursuing Hollywood. 

  Spielberg’s family lived the same life I imagine my grandparents…
