  does a fantastic job of keeping up the thrumming, eerie, uncomfortable sensation of something-bad-is-going-to-happen for nearly the entire runtime. i love how it makes awkwardness scary.

  this movie has a lot of potential, but is ultimately very bland. the antagonists’ designs are by far the most visually interesting and more could definitely have been done with them. also, the lemurs unfortunately get old.

  this is a fantastic little eco horror film!!! the characters alex and stephanie are weak and it’s a little disappointing that the film ended with them. but i genuinely love the direction and the diversity of the found footage style. the gore is good and used in a really clever, sparing way. 3.5/5 :)
