Do you know how severely you’re failing on a basic functional level for ME to give a Tolkien adaption this low of a score?
I gave a The Hobbit Battle of Five Armies THREE stars and yes I KNOW it’s a half star at best.

Small epiphany, I think The Polar Express is the “Russell Crowe as Javert” of Christmas Movies.
To everyone I would say this: Sure both are objective technical failures, but you don’t have to be a dick about it.
This is officially the tenth movie in my 33 years of existence, that I’ve seen with my friends only in a theater. (The eighth to happen naturally)
The Rotten Tomatoes critics score for this movie is abysmal, more signaling of corruption than any of the Marvel/DC scandals of buying off positive reviews.
It’s also just a global mainstream problem, which is why this movie so easily made the list “WELL WHAT WERE YOU EXPECTING?”
I feel burdened watching Ariana Debose’s getting cast in the absolute worst reviewed movies year after year. She deserves better. Fire her agent.
