Surreal to hear cult-approved propaganda as you see the reality through the camera. It’s neat. I would suggest that people who watch this have some kind of experience with the background of religious fundamentalists/cultists. this movie made me feel really sad for some reason??? I really like how the gendered commentary isn’t TOO much on the nose (it is a tiny bit at parts). The two main male characters are off fighting their battle of egos and wreaking a path of destruction while the female characters are separately exploited in different ways. The ex-cop kills one of the cuckoos even though she’s terrified. He wants to kill a child. The doctor controls and forces…
