  beautiful. although sometimes a little corny (i use that word too much, i just don’t know how else to describe it sometimes) it was beautiful. a unique concept and cool twist to the early 2000s 
  rom-com. shit almost brought me to tears at some points.

  The Umbrellas of Cherbourg 1964

  although a little cliche and finding myself getting bored at points, getting kind of tired of the constant singing, the uniqueness of this film and the aesthetic/ideas from this r truly beautiful and original. insane colour palette and crazy sound, felt like a perfect play. some great dialogue and little writing moments that touched me. besides the story being a little predictable and cliche it really worked. a perfect ending too.

  elephant was a piece of crap. it was incredibly boring, out of touch, one dimensional and almost lazy. it feels like one long psa stretched out for a whole 80 minutes. everyone in this movie is completely lifeless, and it’s almost like this movie is saying that a bunch of stuff like video games, nazism, closeted homosexuality causes school shootings or influences these kids to kill others. it was trying to be artistic at some points and man did that…

  cool as hell. definitely one of the most influential and important movies of all time. i’m not like super crazy about it but i get it, it’s tight. i feel like if i caught this in a theatre on film or something the experience and atmosphere would be way deeper and surreal. also first silent movie i’ve ever seen. i feel like it was a good start, definitely gonna have to watch more.
