Lily rose depp is actually crazy talented. However, performance wise sometimes it felt too camp. I think it was meant to feel literally gothic and not camp. That being said she had amazing chemistry with the leads. « I WANNA FUCKIN TEAR YOU APART! »

Based on a true story, cool. But I’m really… really done with war stories being made to seem like some kind of revolutionary cinematic feat. Honestly, no more war movies. No more glorifying American soldiers in film, no more propaganda. Why? Because babe no one asked you to join the military and by doing so you back them in all the atrocities they commit. American military literally FUCKED the people of Japan, this movie just shows how backwards history is taught in America. He was not on the good side, he was part of the problem.
