when I was 8, I bought this movie from an uncle selling bootleg DVDs on the street in China and for some reason I watched it 10+ times that year
to finally see a version that isn’t a recording shot in a cinema with people walking across the screen actually makes this movie a bit scary. also had no idea it ended like that because the person filming the bootleg must of left the cinema early
the plot still holds…
