One Hour Photo 2002
First wanted to see this back in 2002 when I was 9 or 10 years old. My mom wouldn’t let me, so I forgot about it for two decades.

The Big Lebowski 1998
The Big Lebowski might very well be my favorite movie of all time.
As someone born and bred in Los Angeles, this is one of the films outsiders should watch to get a real feel for the city. Movies like La La Land and shows like Entourage show an idealized version of the city with a focus on depicting “the industry”, but do so in trite ways that promote the vapid and stereotypical portrayals of LA.

Funny enough the last time I watched this was in 8th grade English class, but I may have been absent for part of it...
As a huge Lynch fan I have only grown a greater respect for him upon this viewing. Apart from the elephant and factory motifs, the film lacks the signature Lynchian feel or casting.
