  First of two ecohorror watches this week for class!

  This movie opens with a really interesting political confluence in the 1970s: second wave feminism, Black power/Black beauty, and environmentalism. Honestly, I wish it did more with that! I won’t go into the full (eco)critical reflection here, but I do think this movie works on some levels. It’s really well-done visually imho. The colors pop, the puppets are good, etc.

  That package ultimately contains little more than some ham-fisted or under-explored…
