I enjoyed this because I'm from Holland and they did nail the town's dynamic and "friendliness" pretty well. Matthew Macfadyen and Nicole Kidman are extremely funny. It was silly and over the top. The plot is a goddamn clusterfuck. So many other ways it could've gone. Fun watch though. I think it could've leaned in to the comedy aspect more and less of the over the top suspense for me to give it a pass.

I don't know if every violent killer movie needs some comedic semi ironic needle drop but I was ok with the am I only dreaming moment.
Pacing dragged a little- I could've used a little more on the world building of these psycho freaks.
