  I knew nothing would compare to Delon as Ripley - but I was expecting to like this a lot more than I did. I just absolutely despise the way it was edited. But I was entertained throughout and Hoffman was perfect. And whoever pulled wardrobe for Gwyneth and Jude Law deserves a Nobel prize

  I feel the same way about this as The Apartment, like I recognize this is probably a perfect movie but it just doesn’t hit for me. The Walter character just bothered me from the start and never won me over. Oh well
