Absolutely heartbreaking preformamce by Riz Ahmed. Such a devastating story of addiction, love, and dealing with the cards youre dealt. That opening scene was absolutely terrific. Great pacing kept me tuned in throughout the entire runtime. Ending was a little anyi climactic for me but at the same time that last scene was absolute bliss, just was expecting a little more eumph. Overall such a great plane watch. Loved this shit.

Whimsical storytelling at its absolute finest. Pure comedic timing and characters that you cannot help adore. It looks so damn beautiful throughout the entire (too short) runtime. Classic homers odessey tale done so fucking well. Such an instant classic with oneiner after one liner. Fabtastic dialogue and the best pacing you can possibly ask for. So easy to digest. I can definitely see this only going up in the future.

Really beautiful screenplay by Kar-Wai. Sometimes the best love is the love we cannot have. Really well executed all the way through. Extremely satisfying visuals along with emotional and gripping dialogue.
The score was incredible and very diverse and set the mood for the entirety of the short 99 minute runtime. All of this wrapped up in a beautifully poetic ending. Wong Kar-Wai really packes a amazingly haunting story within the time frame and I am very excited to watch many more of his films.

Absolutely absurd. Really truly fucking masterful. Cant really name anything bad about this. Oscars should be catapulted towards this film. Adrien Brody gives one of the best preformances I have ever seen. Idgaf about some AI for a hungarian accent, he was marvelous. Technically poignant in every way shape and form. With a $10 million budget it is fucking stupid how great this is. On such a huge scale with so much depth, this dense, beautifully made film brings out…
