This was amazing. It was hilarious. I loved it. I have nothing but good things to say about this movie. This is genuinely my favorite Batman movie ever. You can’t tell me that this isn’t the best Batman movie ever. Move over “The Dark Knight,” there’s a new #1 in town.
This movie is intense. There is simply no other word for it. You could really consider this movie being two halves: pre-combat and during combat. The pre-combat part is certainly the most intense part, with jarring scenes and language. The during combat portion of the movie is pretty typical of a good war movie. This movie has no glaring weaknesses at all, and the soundtrack stands out splendidly. When this movie is watched, it shouldn’t be watched as simply a war movie. It should be watched as a commentary on the state of man, and how extreme circumstances shape or break a man.
This move was simply not good; in fact I consider it one of the worst movies I’ve seen. It doesn’t even seem worthy of being called a cult classic. I only give it more than .5 of a star because of Donnie’s defense of Smurfette. The camerawork is good, I enjoyed some of the shots, but that was the extent of enjoyable material. The audio was abysmal, and not just because of the tv. The music was overpowering. This movie…
