Yes it’s heavy handed (it’s Bong), but it also has some really beautiful moments of poignant observations. The way Mickey talks about Nasha, Toni’s horror at Mark Ruffalo being blown up, the two wolves inside you of 17 and 18. Didn’t care for most of the epilogue and some of the VO at the beginning, but this movie is biting off a lot so whatever missteps it has didn’t ruin it for me.
