  A childhood classic of mine. The special effects are amazing for a movie from 2003. The plot does carry on a bit towards the end and at a 2 1/2 hour run length that's to be expected. Knightley and Depp absolutely carry this to the upper tier of movies with Orlando Bloom being quite the awesome foil to it all. From the score to the acting to the effects, Pirates of the Carribean is a classic.

  Interesting take on a western based bad guys v anti-heroes film. I thought Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt played their characters really well. The others were let down by subpar writing and a lack of character development. I really wonder why Matt Bomer signed up for literally three minutes of being in this movie? I thought this film failed in a lot of ways, but overall the action and effects were good and balanced without seeming overly aggressive.

Following
