Tbh when this film hit the hour mark and I saw there were still 40min left I had to pause, it was just dull. I found it a bit pretentious as well,🤔 maybe more then a bit. Finished it a couple days later and my opinion had changed. Still an interesting piece of cinematic history, for M. Night Completist only!

Simplistic minimalists cinema out of Iran which is a country im trying to watch more of their cinematic output, i hear good things. Happy to scratch this one off the list, I'm A fan of Soderbergh this will make 23 films i've seen of his. I would say this one probably lands more towards the middle. Lake Michigan Monster 2018
A little to self aware to really get my low budge juices bubbling, but as a dumbass comedy it was perfectly acceptable and had me 😂 out loud.
The commitment to the craft from the crew and cast is amazing! The film looks beautiful, B&W was definitely the way to go, if hadn’t seen the 7,000$ budget I wouldn’t have considered this a micro-budget movie at all.
Can’t wait to see more from this film making team, Beavers firmly on my radar now.
