This turned out to be exactly what I expected it to be and I was thoroughly entertained. Simmons, The Rock, and Evans are all actors that know how to commit to the bit in something zany like this and they're also surrounded by a delightful secondary cast. I'll definitely visit the next entry in the Red One-iverse.

Gladiator II 2024
It was fine. I didn’t fall asleep (which is a legit concern for a 9p movie). Quality violence. Denzel and the twins were standouts. Too many CGI critters. Didn’t have the right momentum; I didn’t understand why the other gladiators were behind him which was so important to the first film. Some fun character actors in the Senate and other gladiators (yarp).
