watching this for the second time, i can confidently say that the sequel is better than the original. the setting is more fun and coherent.
however, they still kept up the tradition of casting actors who are… less than great. very clunky. lauren lavera is the best of them though. and this is said with the exception of david howard thornton, who is great!
i’m also not necessarily a fan of the whole “heroine destined to defeat art the clown”…

The Invisible Man 2020
i watch a lot of horror and i watch most of it without any of it getting to me. i don’t get scared, i don’t have bad dreams after, hell, i rarely flinch at jumpscares. but this is one of the rare movies that makes me uncomfortable. not in a “i can’t watch this” way, but in a “this gets under my skin” way.
